Finding Resources From Home

1. Begin at the St. Joseph's College Libraries homepage. (http://libraries.sjcny.edu)

2. Some library resources require a login for off campus use. When prompted for a username and password after clicking on a resource, use the SJC webmail login information.

3. To test if your webmail username and password work, log in to your webmail account at http://student.sjcny.edu

4. The login page for library resources appears below. The username and password is the same as your SJC webmail account.

4a. For students enrolled prior to May 2007, your login name is your initials followed by the last 4 digits of your social security number. The password is the last 4 digits of the social security number or the new password that you created in your webmail settings.

Example: John A. Smith, Social Security 1234567890, would have username jas7890 and password 7890.

4b. For students enrolled after May 2007 your login name is your WebAdvisor ID. Your password is your birth date in the following format: MMDDYY

If you do not know your WebAdvisor ID please visit http://webadvisor.sjcny.edu

Click the "Account Information" link and then the "What's My User ID?" link. Complete the required fields and click the Submit button. Your WebAdvisor ID will be displayed.

PLEASE NOTE: CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD IN WEBADVISOR DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR STUDENT EMAIL PASSWORD.
